Rainbow Committee
Our setting is a charity and as such is managed by a volunteer management committee - whose members are elected by the parents of the children who attend our setting. The elections take place at our Annual General Meeting. The committee make up the registered person with Ofsted and are responsible for:

Managing our finances (this is overseen by a professional accredited accountant firm)

Employing and managing our staff
-
Making sure that we have, and work to, policies that help us to provide a
high-quality service
-
Making sure that we work in partnership with parents.
The Annual General Meeting is open to the parents of all of the children who attend our setting. It is our shared forum for looking back over the previous year's activities and shaping the coming year's plan.
Our setting also has a Fundraising Committee. This group is made up of the parents of the children who attend the setting. This committee takes the lead on fundraising for the charity, parents are encouraged to get involved if they can. We organise events like Easter Egg Hunt, Summer Fun Day and the Christmas Craft Morning.
How can you help?
We are always looking for more people to join out committee. We meet every 4-6 weeks for an hour on a Thursday evening. Everyone is welcome to get involved and help shape your child's nursery.
We also hold a number of fundraising events though out the year and your donations for the raffle/tombola etc are alway very welcome.
Remember all money raised goes directly to ensuring your children get the best possible care and education.
