About Us
Rainbow Bicester is a registered charity run by a Committee, the majority of whom are parents of children currently attend the provision. This means rather than chasing profit we are focused on ensuring the children in our care get the best possible pre school experience.
We have been running for over 30 years and pride ourselves on our loyal and committed staff base. Our staff turn over is very low and this means your child will get to know and depend on the adults around them and you can have confidence in the care they will receive. We pride ourselves on the quality and experience of the staff employed at Rainbow Bicester. All staff are regularly assessed and enrolled on relevant training courses.
Our provision comprises large secure entrance lobby with security measures in place ensuring safety of all children in our care, open plan play areas and kitchen area, staff/conference room, office, children's toilet facilities, extra wide toilet/changing facility, large all weather outdoor play area partially covered with race track, mud kitchen, sandpit, water play, climbing frame, with gardening and nature areas.
We are registered with Ofsted and inspected regularly by the Environmental Health and Fire Departments. We have full Liability Insurance, General Insurance and Employers Liability Cover.

Meet our staff
We have 8 members of staff, 1 at Level 5 and 7 members of staff that are all Level 3 qualified.
All staff have a strong commitment to further training. We have an extremely loyal and committed staff base and have a very low staff turnover of which we are very proud.
We pride ourselves on the quality and experience of the staff employed at Rainbow Bicester. All staff are regularly assessed and enrolled on relevant training courses.
Setting Manager:
Mandy Zdyrko - Level 5 Degree in Early Years Practice
Deputy Managers:
Rachel Smith – CCLD Level 3.
Rachel has been at Rainbow for 15 years and has worked her way up from Pre-School Assistant to Deputy Manager. Rachel has also been our SENCO for over 6 years and is also our Extended Services & Holiday Club Supervisor
Delwyn Ridley – CCLD Level 3.
Delwyn has been with Rainbow for 12 years and became a Deputy Manager over 5 years ago, she is also our Equality, Diversity & Inclusion officer
Extended Services:
Karen Lough-Scott – CCLD Level 2 & Level 3 Playwork.
Karen came back to Rainbow 7 years ago, she is now our Extended Services & Holiday Club Supervisor
